News Desk: BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, who was infected with coronavirus, has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) due to deteriorating physical condition and low oxygen level.

Thursday (April 1) at noon, BNP health secretary. Rafiqul Islam has given this information. He said the oxygen level had dropped due to Ruhul Kabir Rizvi's cough and fever. Today he was given an injection on the advice of specialist doctors.

He was rushed to the ICU as his oxygen level dropped further. It is to be mentioned that after suffering from fever for a few days, Rizvi was diagnosed with an infection when he was tested on March 18.

He was then admitted to Square Hospital for advanced treatment. A third report later on Wednesday (March 31) found Corona to be "positive." He is currently undergoing treatment in the ICU of Square Hospital.
