Kurigram Drug dealer arrested with 15 kg of cannabis

Kurigram Correspondent: Police have arrested a drug dealer named Quddus Ali (28) with 15 kg of cannabis in Kurigram. The arrested Quddus Ali is the son of late Jahangir Alam of Anantapur Mandalari area of ​​Fulbari Upazila.

According to the police, at around 2.45 pm on the basis of secret information, under the direction of Sadar Circle Utpal Kumar Roy, Sadar Police Station OC Khan Md. At that time, on the way from Phulbari to Ulipur, drug dealer Quddus Ali was arrested with 15 kg of cannabis and an auto kept in his used autorickshaw. Officer-in-charge (OC) of Sadar Police Station Khan Mohammad Shahriar said a case has been filed against the arrested drug dealer.

The accused is in the process of being sent to jail.

Kurigram Superintendent of Police Syeda Jannat Ara said there was no exemption for drug traffickers and an anti-drug drive was underway in the district.
