Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate DRU's Silver Jubilee celebrations today

News Desk: On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Dhaka Reporters Unity, a four-day silver jubilee festival is starting on Sunday. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the festival online at 10 am. The festival will be held at Hotel Intercontinental.

Besides, the second part of the Silver Jubilee has been organized on October 29 and 30 at the Institution of Engineers in the capital. The event will feature the awarding of the 'Best Reporting Award', a book exhibition of member writers, a documentary exhibition in memory of the deceased members, honors of former leaders of the founding and executive committees and sports at various events. In the third and final phase, a reunion of members and their family members has been organized at Shilpakala Academy in the capital on October 31.

DRU President Rafiqul Islam Azad and General Secretary Riaz Chowdhury have invited the members to attend these programs.
