At least three people have been killed in a gun attack on a nightclub in the US city of Houston. The condition of another person injured in the shelling is critical. Hours after the incident, police could not identify the attackers.

There were at least 30 people in the nightclub at the time of the shooting. According to a report by ABC News, a search has been launched in the city to find the culprits of the attack.

The DD Sky Club in Houston was attacked around 10:15 pm local time on Tuesday, police sources said. Johnson, a senior Houston police officer, said three people have been killed so far in the nightclub shootings. The condition of another person is also critical.

Police believe at least two gunmen carried out the attack. However, details about the attackers are not yet known.

A man named Cad Trammel, who was in the nightclub at the time of the attack, told the media that he and his friend had heard gunshots 8 to 10 times before fleeing the nightclub with their lives in hand.

According to the man, they somehow managed to escape by falling to the floor while walking. Then, he and his friend escaped from the nightclub. This young man is a local hip hop artist.

According to 20-year-old Trammell, the sound of gunfire caused a commotion in the club. In order to save his own life, Digbidik runs like a fool without knowing it. Frightened, they also ran away. They tried to get out of the nightclub as soon as possible.

The number of gun attacks in the United States has risen sharply in recent years. Earlier, in November 2016, 26 people were killed in a gun attack on a church in Sutherland Springs, Texas.

In a response to the attack, US President Donald Trump said the number of people suffering from mental illness was rising in the United States, as in other parts of the world. Trump's remarks drew widespread criticism at the time.
