News Desk: The light pressure created in the Bay of Bengal area was located in the West Central Bay of Bengal and the adjoining East Central Bay of Bengal on Wednesday. Thursday (October 22) may be more concentrated.

As a result, strong winds may blow in the North Bay, seaports and coastal areas of Bangladesh. The Meteorological Department has asked the country's seaports to display warning signal No. 3 for fear of strong winds due to the effect of clear light pressure.

According to the weather forecast, strong winds may blow in the North Bay, coastal areas of Bangladesh and seaports due to light pressure. That is why Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Mongla and Payra seaports have been asked to display local warning signal number 3.

At the same time, the meteorological office has advised all fishing boats and trawlers stationed in the North Bay and the deep sea to proceed cautiously from near the coast.

Meanwhile, it rained in different parts of the country yesterday due to light pressure. The highest rainfall recorded was 61 mm at Khepupara in Patuakhali. Dhaka received 48 mm of rain.

Director of the Meteorological Office Samsuddin Ahmed said the light pressure in the central Bay of Bengal was located in the West Central Bay of Bengal and the adjoining East Central Bay of Bengal on Wednesday morning. It will be more concentrated.

Next Friday-Saturday could turn into a deep depression. However, it is not yet known whether it will take the form of a cyclone or move in any direction.

The meteorological office said it was raining in different parts of the country due to the apparent light pressure. Today the rain will increase.

The meteorological office has forecast rain in most districts of Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions today due to clear light pressure. It will rain with thunder somewhere. There may be heavy rain somewhere.

The meteorological office said a light pressure was created in the Bay of Bengal on October 10. It later turned into a deep depression and crossed the land in Orissa, India.

There was no damage then. However, the meteorological office has already given the news of a cyclone this month. If it takes the form of a cyclone, then its name will be 'Gati'.
