An exchange meeting of the police administration was held on the occasion of Durga Puja in Gopalpur

Gopalpur Correspondent: An exchange meeting of the Puja Celebration Committee was held with the police administration on the occasion of Durga Puja 2020 in Gopalpur, Tangail.

Organized by Gopalpur Thana Police (October 11) at noon at Gopalpur Thana premises. An exchange meeting of the Police Administration and Puja Celebration Committee was held to ensure law and order and security during the upcoming Durga Puja in a peaceful and fair manner.

Gopalpur Police Station Investigation Officer Md. Qayyum Khan Siddiqui, Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Amir Khasru was present as the chief guest, Upazila Ansar VDP female teacher Shamsunnahar, Upazila Puja Celebration Committee President Samendra Nath Sarkar Bimal, Central Kali Chitta Ranjan Saha, president of the management committee of the temple, Kishore Kumar Dep, general secretary of the puja celebration committee, Pradeep Chandra Chand, Ajit Ajit Kumar Pal Bablu, Himadri Chandra Chandra, Babu Subhash Kundu and other officials of all the puja mandals of the upazila were also present.

The speakers said that Durga Puja will be held in 34 puja mandapas.
