At present, there is a question among the parents-students about the decision regarding the postponed examinations of the National University. At present, more than 29 lakh students are terrified of the exam. Teachers, parents and students have demanded its cancellation.

It is learned that about 29 lakh 10 thousand students are studying in different courses of the National University. Students of government and private colleges under the National University are also apprehensive about their working age. For this reason, they have demanded to advance education through alternative assessment system.

Students say they are unable to study due to the coronavirus epidemic. Spending time in different ways. Even those who have finished preparing for the exam are not able to take the exam. As a result, many are emotionally broken. Meanwhile, age is also passing. All in all, they are in extreme anxiety. Therefore, they have demanded to pass the next level through alternative assessment.

Arman, an honors fourth year student at the National University, said, "A few months ago, we were supposed to have the final examination for the honors fourth year, but it was not taken because of Corona." Due to the current situation, there is no situation or preparation to take the test. Even if the college takes online classes, it is not enough. If the test is taken in this situation, the expected result will not be obtained. '

He said he and his classmates were in similar trouble. For this reason, the student demanded to cancel the examination and give the certificate through evaluation in different ways. The students of the National University have demanded autopsy by canceling the examination in the situation that arose.

Swapan Ali Haider is the guardian of Bilkis Haider, an honors third year student of Bangla College in Mirpur. "The situation in the country has made it difficult to survive," he said. Due to the closure of educational institutions for a long time, her children have become irregular from their studies.

He said, "Since it was not possible to take classes for a long time after the college was closed, the students would be in trouble if the exams were announced suddenly." They have to face great loss in education. That's why we should think of some alternatives. '

In this regard, the Dean of the National University. Md. Nasir Uddin said the exams can be taken within a week or two of the opening of the educational institution. We have all the preparations. But if any other decision is given by the government, it is a different matter. He commented that it would not be right to give automatic pass in this level of education.

The fourth year examination of the National University was supposed to end in March. But on March 16 this year, the educational institution was closed. Although most of the subjects were tested, two to five subjects were stuck due to the Corona epidemic. Since then, the students have been waiting for the exam to be held.

Then 9 to 10 months have passed. In this situation, anxiety and frustration are growing among many. Students say the certificate will not be issued until the end of the fourth year. And if the certificate does not match, you will not participate in the job test.

Meanwhile, students have recently staged a human chain in front of the main gate of the National University office in Gazipur demanding automatic pass. This demand was made by the BA (Honors) and fourth year candidates of different colleges to give autopass on the basis of the examination results.

It is learned that the degree pass course of the National University, second year and third year, Masters final was to be held between April. But these tests were postponed due to corona infection. The degree pass course was supposed to have 34 exams each year.

National University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. about the automatic passage of students in the situation. Md. Mashiur Rahman said, ‘The matter is not being considered yet. We are waiting. Considering the health of the students, face-to-face examination is not going to be taken at the moment. So we have to wait. Waiting for the educational institution to open. The problem will be solved even if the vaccine comes. '
