Although it was possible to take the SSC exam in February, the educational institution was closed in March due to the Corona epidemic. HSC and equivalent exams are stuck in it. Then test in repeated discussions.

Amid fears and uncertainties, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni appeared at an online press conference on Wednesday (October 7th). At that time, he said, the government has moved away from taking HSC and equivalent examinations this year considering the health safety of students.

The results will be announced in December after the evaluation. But what will be the method of evaluation? In reply, the minister said the assessment would be based on the results of JSC and SSC examinations.

Meanwhile, there has been a mixed reaction among students and parents to the government's decision. They fear that the assessment in this way will create big problems in various subjects including higher education abroad. Although the Minister of Education claims, there is no scope for complications in following the international procedure.

About 14 lakh students were waiting to take part in HSC and equivalent examinations in the current academic year. Of which about 11 lakh are regular examinees.

The HSC and equivalent examinations were scheduled to be held from April 1, but were postponed due to the Corona epidemic. The country's educational institutions have also been closed due to corona.
