86 liters of distilled liquor seized in Katiadi, arrested-3

Katiadi Correspondent: An operational team of RAB-14, CPC-3, Bhairab Camp in Katiadi of Kishoreganj conducted an operation and arrested three drug dealers along with 7 liters of distilled liquor.

The three arrested are drug dealers, Pradeep Bashfor (23), Md. Jasim (36) and Ranai Kumar Das (30). Among them are Pradeep Bashfor, son of late Suresh Bashfor of Katiadi Purbapara, Mohammad Jasim, son of late Falu Mia of Purakanda village in Bajitpur upazila and Ranai Kumar Das is a resident of Gauh Lakshi village of Faridpur district.

Ranai Kumar Das is the tenant of Kajal's house behind the Katiadi bus stand. RAB-14, CPC-3, Bhairab Camp Company Commander Additional Superintendent of Police Rafiuddin Mohammad Jobay led the operation. Additional Superintendent of Police Rafiuddin Mohammad Jobayer, Company Commander of RAB-14, CPC-3, Bhairab Camp, said that RAB-14, CPC-3, Bhairab Camp came to know on the basis of secret information that a drug trafficking ring regularly produces distilled liquor in Kishoreganj district.

In order to verify the veracity of this information, the RAB is continuously monitoring the drug trafficking ring and the veracity of the information is being found. , CPC-3, an operational team from Bhairab Camp conducted the operation. Three drug dealers Pradeep Bashfor, Md. Jasim and Ranai Kumar Das were arrested and 7 liters of home-brewed liquor was recovered from them. The estimated value of the recovered evidence is Tk 34,400. A case is being filed against them at Katiadi Model Police Station.
