Sheikh Mujibur Rahman emerged from Tungipara of this country, which has been exploited for thousands of years, as an ambassador for the liberation of Bengalis. So he is undoubtedly a messenger of liberation for the whole Bengali history, the Bengali entity. A quarter once wanted to erase this hero from the history of this country. Now they are being erased from the history of this country.

He was speaking as the chief guest at an online discussion titled "Bangabandhu Bangali's Consciousness Lighthouse" on the occasion of the 45th Martyrdom Anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning Day organized by Teachers Association at National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam University at 11:30 am on Saturday.
