CNI Desk: Another member of the Bangladesh Police died from COVID-19 infections at a hospital in the capital on Sunday morning.
The deceased was identified as Sadhan Chandra Barman, 42, a police constable of Tangail, hailing from Saturia upazila of Manikganj.
He breathed his last at Rajarbagh Central Police Hospital in Dhaka at 8:00 am while undergoing treatment.
Mustafizur Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Gopalpur Police Station, said the constable was admitted to Tangail General Hospital on August 12 after he was tested positive for Covid-19. Later, he was shifted to Rajarbagh Central Police Hospital as his condition deteriorated and passed away this morning.
