A court in the country has fined former US President Donald Trump $9,000 for violating a court order in a criminal bribery case. At the same time, Trump has been warned that he could face jail time if he violates the court order the next time. News Reuters.

A New York court issued the order on Tuesday (April 30). The court was hearing a case against Trump accused of bribing porn star Stormy Daniels to keep her mouth shut. Judge Juan Marchen found Trump, 77, responsible for violating the court order.

The court ordered that Trump not publicly attack witnesses, judges or court staff and their relatives.

The judge fined Trump for violating this order 9 times. He will be fined $1,000 for each count. The court also ordered Trump to remove seven posts from his self-created social media site Truth Social and two from the presidential campaign website by this afternoon.

On April 23, prosecutors accused him of talking about the case in social media posts. The prosecutors demanded a fine of 10,000 dollars, referring to 10 posts made by Trump. In those posts, the former president insulted potential witnesses in the bribery case and questioned the impartiality of the jury.

It should be noted that in the United States, there is a provision of 30 days imprisonment for disobeying the court order. As a result, if this new charge is proven, the judge can also order Trump to be sent to prison for 30 days.
