Chhatra League gave 8 instructions to the activists on the occasion of holy Ramadan

News desk: Bangladesh Chhatra League has given eight instructions to the leaders and activists to involve in various social and humanitarian activities on the occasion of holy Ramadan. These include instructions for distribution of Iftar and Sehri, blood donation and Eid gifts among the needy.

This instruction was given in a statement signed by the party's central president Saddam Hossain and general secretary Sheikh Wali Asif Inan on Monday (March 11) night.

It has been said, "Chatra League is an organization built by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and managed under the direct guidance of Sheikh Hasina." Chhatra League has always led the student community and the young generation in the leadership and sacrifice in the freedom struggle of Bangladesh, the anti-military movement and the struggle to establish democracy, and the introduction of a modern education system based on universal scientific research.

"The Chhatra League has always stood by the people for any need, be it festival-planning or natural-man-made. As in the past, this year also in the month of Ramadan, the Chhatra League will extend its hand of cooperation to the student society, public, working people as per the need. Instructions were given to each organizational unit of BCL to conduct these activities in an orderly manner. The instructions are-

  • Distribution of Iftar and Sehri among students, laborers, helpless people.
  • Distribution of free food items and essential items.
  • Careful availability of affordable healthy food in residential halls of educational institutions.
  • To support the agricultural and laboring people through manual labour.
  • Voluntary blood donation decreases during the month of Ramadan, so donating blood is necessary.
  • Conducting cleanliness drives in educational institutions, party offices and respective areas.
  • Stand by the needs of classmates, colleagues, neighbors and relatives and
  • Distribution of Eid gifts to orphans and street children.
